The Forest Holiday Camp (Erdei Kemping) is situated along a small creek in a quiet valley of the Bükk mountains in Répáshuta, half way between Eger and Miskolc.
Répáshuta is the only village in the Bükk National Park. The Forest Camp invites everyone who wants to enjoy the wilderness, the crispy refreshing air, quiet surrounding and complete relaxation.
For those who are looking for active recreation the Bükk mountain is an ideal place to take picturesque tracking tours. Ridges, caves, springs and large, silent forests make the landscape unforgettably beautiful
Mountain bikers can try their endurance on the marked biking routes among the mountains. And for those who are interested in wild animals (in Hungary we do not have any which are dangerous), birds (bird watchers are most welcome!), the very rich flora or the incredible biodiversity, the Bükk mountain is a place of treasure. For an active holiday or complete relaxation the best place is the Forest Camp in Répáshuta. The camp is also ideal for families with children. The complete relaxation is guaranteed by the beautiful, quiet landscape and the hospitality of the local people.
The camp is also an ideal place to organise various outdoor events, such as cooking competitions, holiday camps for children groups, forest schools, trekking tours and teambuilding exercises.
In the village a small folk museum, in the near outskirt of the village a traditional lime furnace and the Balla cave, which was once inhabited by caveman, can be visited.
